Family business De Boer in Bolsward was founded by Klaas de Boer in 1976 and marked five decades in business. His grandchildren, Chris and Ingrid, continued the company with a focus on traditional craftsmanship while also responding to modern trends and social media.

They said they remained proud of the craftsmanship at the business.
