Strong winds tore about 60 metres of facade cladding from the Shurgard Self Storage building at De Run in Veldhoven. Panels fell onto two vehicles, including a parked car and part of a truck, causing damage. No one was injured.

The fire brigade and a crane company removed loose cladding and other panels at risk of coming free. Insulation remained on the facade and may also need to be removed. Stichting Salvage is handling the damage.
