The A2 motorway between the Vonderen interchange near Echt and the Kerensheide interchange near Urmond is being closed for an extended period this weekend while the road is widened to three lanes in each direction. The closure is reported to last longer than the weekend closure at the end of last year because of a lack of staff and equipment.
