An explosive was thrown under a vehicle on Tweede Franklinstraat in Eindhoven on Sunday afternoon and partly detonated. Police cordoned off the street in a residential area. The Defence Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service was called to investigate, defuse and remove the device. Police said it appeared to be heavy illegal fireworks, though the service was still examining what it was.
