An explosive device detonated at a house on Wijnruitweg in Tilburg during the night from Wednesday to Thursday, severely damaging and blowing out the front door. A mother and her five children were inside, but no one was injured.

The family was left shaken. The eldest daughter said smoke was present in the hallway after the blast and that the device may have been thrown through the letterbox, though this has not been confirmed. The door has been temporarily covered and police are investigating the area.
