An explosive detonated at the entrance to homes above a drugstore on Kinkerstraat in Amsterdam shortly after 6 a.m. The blast damaged the entrance, blackened part of the door and shattered two windows. No one was injured.

Police cordoned off part of the street for an investigation and appealed for witnesses and footage, including dashcam recordings, because people may have been nearby at the time.
