Two Ukrainian refugees were evicted from a shelter in Hengelo after staff found hard drugs, dangerous materials and a large knife in their rooms. One report said the materials could have been used to set up a drug laboratory.

The men had not been reported to have committed criminal acts before the eviction and are challenging the municipality's location ban in court.
