Enschede plans to introduce an evening opening at a waste station on a weekday yet to be determined, allowing residents to dispose of waste until 9 p.m. The measure is intended to make the service more accessible to people who work during normal opening hours.

The Zuid waste station on Vlierstraat is considered the most likely location for the evening opening.
