Spanish police began evacuating what was described as Ceuta’s largest migrant camp, located on a beach in the North African enclave. About 3,000 migrants were being taken by bus to temporary accommodation for identification while authorities assess their return to Morocco. The operation took place a week before a planned visit by Spain’s king and queen to Ceuta.
