Essent expanded into public fast charging for electric cars after its sister company, E.ON Drive Infrastructure, took over BP’s former fast-charging network. Essent and E.ON Drive Infrastructure will operate the network together. The network comprises 370 charging installations at 79 locations, according to one report. Essent says the move makes it one of the Netherlands’ largest providers of public fast charging.
