Esmee Ipema, 30, said she had lost contact with her twin sister Sharon after tensions arose over a relationship with her former partner. She said the past year had also involved a breakup and becoming estranged from her mother and sister. In the programme Realitea, Esmee explained that the tensions between the sisters intensified when she temporarily broke contact with their mother. She said Sharon turned against her after that separation from their mother. Esmee and Sharon had previously become known as the “Terror Twins” through Ex on the Beach.
