A fire broke out near an engine on the left side of a LATAM Airlines Airbus A320 at Lima airport in Peru shortly before take-off. Passengers were evacuated as a precaution, and no one was injured.

The airline described it as an unexpected technical incident and is still investigating the cause of the fire.
