Elsmainy Jergo, 35, said she had a job, a relationship and a house before losing everything in a short period. She said she lost her home and accumulated €70,000 in debt, while remaining convinced that things would work out.

She has since got her life back on track and is encouraging other young people to avoid debt, according to the account.
