Ellis van Gulijk, 57, from Oldenzaal, reportedly felt healthy and noticed no difference in her usual condition when she was diagnosed with rectal cancer. She underwent an intensive course of treatment and is now considered cured, while noting that this is only the case for now. She and her husband, Gerard, are raising money for charity.
