Elena Grootenhuis, 21, is reported to have overcome leukemia twice. She experiences flashbacks when she hears someone with cancer swear, recalling hospital stays, chemotherapy and a life-threatening fungal infection in her lungs and brain. She now tells young people what that experience was like.
