Eindhoven was reported to have joined ten other municipalities in Noordoost-Brabant in an effort to reduce waiting lists at Veilig Thuis, the hotline for domestic violence and child abuse. The municipalities have together pledged €2.1 million for the effort, which is intended to address waiting lists caused by staff shortages.
