The Egyptian Football Association dismissed national team coach Hossam Hassan, 60, it announced on Saturday. Hassan had led Egypt at last summer’s World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, where the team reached the last 16 before losing to Argentina after a turbulent final phase. Argentina later went on to finish as runner-up.
