Ayoub Oufkir called up by Morocco

5 sources

AZ attacker Ayoub Oufkir was called up for the first time by Morocco coach Mohamed Ouahbi for two Africa Cup qualifying matches against Niger. The 20-year-old had previously represented Dutch youth teams and made his debut for the Netherlands Under-21 side in October, playing against Norway, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. If Oufkir plays for Morocco against Niger, he will no longer be eligible to represent the Netherlands internationally, according to the reports. His call-up therefore appears set to end his involvement with the Dutch national teams.
