Dutch House votes on alcohol monitoring and healthcare visitor bans

The House of Representatives approved an alcohol-monitoring ankle device for people subject to an alcohol ban. They can soon be required to wear the device.

In a separate vote, the House adopted by a large majority a proposal by VVD member Hilde Wendel for a blacklist of visitors who have behaved aggressively in hospitals or other healthcare institutions. The blacklist is intended to allow such visitors to be barred from those institutions in the future.
