House-price growth in the Netherlands fell below the European average, with prices rising faster in 19 of the 27 EU member states. In the second quarter, sales of newly built homes fell by more than 10% from a year earlier, marking the fourth consecutive quarterly decline in new-home sales. Sales of existing homes rose slightly.
