Dutch cinemas pause screenings of NAZA

◆5 sources

Dutch cinemas cancelled screenings of the Gaza documentary NAZA on 6, 7 and 8 October, following a request from its Israeli creators. The distributor said all cinemas showing the film complied, including venues in Groningen and Emmen. A distributor spokesperson said family members of the creators had been threatened, reportedly in connection with screenings around 7 October. The creators feared that screenings could create unsafe situations. NAZA has been shown in Dutch cinemas since 1 October.
