Dutch attitudes toward LGBTIQA+ people
◆2 sources
Most adults in the Netherlands remained positive toward LGBTIQA+ people, but attitudes toward homosexuality were unchanged from two years earlier, indicating that earlier growth in acceptance has stalled. Researchers described this as a concerning development requiring continued attention. The biennial Lhbtiqa+ Monitor by Movisie, Panteia and Ipsos I&O also found substantial differences between individual LGBTI+ groups and varying levels of well-being among them. A separate study reported in September found that acceptance of homosexuality among young people had fallen over the preceding four years.
