Renbaan Duindigt has taken its dispute with the municipality of Wassenaar to the Council of State over a pre-emption right established by the municipality on the racetrack’s land. Weeks earlier, a court ruled that Wassenaar was entitled to establish the right, but the racetrack disagreed with that decision. Cases concerning the sale of the racetrack and the pre-emption right, brought last summer, are now before the Netherlands’ highest administrative court.
