Dutch health insurer DSW said it will raise its monthly basic health insurance premium by €14.75 in 2027, from €158.50 to €173.25. The 9.3% increase, or €177 a year, is the largest increase in euros in the insurer’s history, though not its largest percentage increase. DSW said rising healthcare costs and reductions in the national healthcare budget contributed to the decision.

DSW also said it will reduce the compulsory deductible by €10 to €390 a year. Other insurers have yet to announce their 2027 premiums and must do so by 12 November.
