Two merchant ships were hit by drones in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone in the Black Sea. One ship sank and its crew is missing; it is unclear how many people were aboard. The other ship caught fire, and 18 crew members were rescued. Some of those rescued were taken to hospital in Varna. A single report said one had severe burns and another had a head injury. The strikes were reported as the first such attack in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone.
