Loose manhole covers caused traffic disruption in the Drechttunnel on the A16 towards Breda. The covers had come loose at two locations in the right-hand tube, and initially only one of the four lanes was open. After hours of emergency work, all lanes were reopened, although traffic was still delayed by about 40 minutes around 3:30 p.m.
