Former Philips director Jan Post donated a hand-knotted Pak-Persian carpet to Heeze Castle. He received the carpet at his farewell as Philips’ general director in Pakistan, with one report dating this to 1987. After being kept by the Post family in Spain and Eindhoven, the carpet was formally transferred to the castle on Thursday.

The 1986 carpet has been placed in the castle’s music room, where it will be visible during tours and weddings. The donation was made because the Posts no longer had room for it in their apartment and wanted it to remain in Brabant.
