The municipality of Weststellingwerf and Linda van der Heide from Noordwolde were again opposed over carbide shooting and the welfare of her sport horses. Van der Heide wanted her horses to get through New Year’s Day without stress, while the municipality wanted to preserve the tradition of carbide shooting. The court was to decide between them.
