A Dutch tourist was reportedly subjected to homophobic insults and threats on WhatsApp after posting a negative review of an excursion on Easter Island. Chilean human rights organisation Movilh approached the Dutch embassy over the incident. The tour operator acknowledged that the guide had crossed the line.
