Police found more than 90 kilograms of heavy illegal fireworks in 14 rubbish bags in a forest area near the Rijksstraatweg at nature reserve Plantage Willem III. The reports differ on whether the location was in Rhenen or Elst.

Police closed off the area for several hours, and a specialist company removed the fireworks.
