Discovery and detonation of five World War II grenades in Putterbos

Five British PIAT grenades from the Second World War were found about half a metre underground in the Putterbos forest in Putten on Monday, reportedly by someone using a metal detector. The Defence Explosives Disposal Service attended the scene and detonated the grenades safely at the location.
