A property developer has reportedly withdrawn from plans for two major construction projects in central Nijmegen. The projects involved hundreds of new homes at the site of the current Molenpoort passage and the former V&D building.

The two projects have consequently come to a halt, according to the account, and the developer’s withdrawal has left their status uncertain.
