Rover calls for equal treatment of rail and air passengers

Travellers’ association Rover said international rail passengers were disadvantaged because the government had not provided sufficient border-control capacity at Amsterdam Central. It called for rail and air passengers to be treated equally in how border controls are funded.

Rover said additional checks for non-European travellers had led Eurostar services to London to depart late and with empty seats.
