Artis opened Deep Seeing Currents, a new work by Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson, in its aquarium. The installation uses light and sound to simulate a journey into the deep sea. In a dark room, visitors descend over 12 minutes to a simulated depth of up to 11 kilometres. The aquarium has been open again since June.
