SC Cambuur's turnaround with Nicolas Binder

2 sources

SC Cambuur beat Willem II 6-1 in Tilburg, its biggest-ever Eredivisie victory, after beginning the season with four straight defeats. The win extended Cambuur's unbeaten run to six matches and left the club tenth with 12 points. Nicolas Binder scored twice against Willem II, taking his season total to five. The Austrian forward had not scored in 13 appearances in the previous season and had planned to leave in the summer, but no transfer materialised. Cambuur's run began after Binder made his first start of the season against Telstar. Sami Bouhoudane, who joined from PSV, has meanwhile been used as a substitute while working to improve.
