A 27-year-old man from Vlissingen died after a reported possible violent incident late Wednesday night on Meindert Hobbemalaan in Vlissingen. Emergency services, ambulances and a trauma helicopter were deployed, and the man was reportedly resuscitated, without success.

Police are investigating the death and have not said what happened. No arrests were known at the time of the reports. The street was cordoned off while forensic officers searched for evidence and police spoke with possible witnesses.
