A driver died later on Wednesday after a rear-end collision involving a passenger car and a company van on the Interring in Almere, between the Hagevoortdreef and Buitenhoutsedreef, police said. The drivers exchanged details and continued on their way after the crash.

Police are investigating whether the death resulted from the collision or had another cause and are seeking witnesses.
