Dead animal delivered to Oldebroek town hall

A package containing a dead animal and a letter about wolf policy was delivered to Oldebroek town hall on Tuesday afternoon. The letter said the municipal executive was not doing enough regarding the wolf. Mayor Tanja Haseloop-Amsing called the action intimidation, rejected it and said security cameras should be installed as soon as possible.

Staff at the reception found the package suspicious and called the police. The mayor did not identify the animal. The person who delivered the package remains unknown, and police are canvassing the area around the town hall; it is not known whether a formal report has been filed.
