The NOS podcast De Dag was named best daily podcast at the Dutch Podcast Awards. The jury said the series made complex topics easy to follow, combining information and calm through strong editorial work. The approximately 20-minute daily episodes focus on a topic from the news and are presented by Elisabeth Steinz and Marco Geijtenbeek. The podcast began on 1 February 2018 and has produced more than 2,300 episodes.

The Dutch Podcast Awards are held annually in several categories on the initiative of BNR Newsradio. A 37-member jury selected this year’s winners. The award for best podcast in the Netherlands went to De Rollapartement, produced by broadcaster NTR, while the public award went to ADHAZES by Roxanne and André Hazes.
