Daniel B., a 48-year-old German man already suspected of murdering Paul Vossen from Herkenbosch, is now also suspected of murdering his mother. The additional suspicion emerged during a hearing in Roermond. His mother has been missing for nearly two years. Authorities had previously said they had strong indications of his involvement in her disappearance, but insufficient grounds to formally suspect him of murder. The new evidence or leads were not disclosed.
