Israeli women Dana Yoeli and Kinneret Rosenbloom had not previously considered themselves political activists. That changed in 2023, after Benjamin Netanyahu’s new government took office, when they became involved in a struggle over Israel’s democracy.

They said they had come to see the system as vulnerable and no longer felt they could remain on the sidelines. Their experiences were due to be presented on Tuesday.
