Gerard and Annemiek, dairy farmers in the east of the country, have 150 cows and about 100 hectares of land. Their family has run the farm for centuries, and they want to invest in animal welfare and manage nature responsibly. They feel that government policy is making it impossible to earn a living from the farm in the future.
