Both sides of the Da Costakade between Kinkerstraat and Potgieterstraat in Amsterdam-West will close for a week as preparation for quay repairs. The municipality is mapping cables and pipes in the street: the side with odd-numbered addresses will close first, followed a week later by the other side. The investigation is scheduled to be completed on 14 November, while the quay works are due to start next year.

Traffic will have to take a detour during the investigation. Parking along the canal will not be possible, and the waste containers will also be closed because garbage trucks cannot reach them.
