Simon van Veen, 32, of Recreation Drenthe cycled around Havelte on Wednesday afternoon with a group of recreational cyclists to assess how accessible the bicycle paths are for people using a tandem bicycle, tricycle or mobility scooter. During the test, he said that some of the routes were not workable with a counterweight in place.
