A cyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car at about 10:00 on Tuesday at the junction of De Steeg and Oude Maasdijk in Reek. The cyclist was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Nijmegen.

Police, ambulance crews and a trauma helicopter attended the scene, and part of Oude Maasdijk was closed while emergency services worked and police investigated. The cause of the collision remains unclear.
