Cyberattack on refrigeration systems at Belgian Delhaize stores

Delhaize reported an IT incident affecting refrigeration installations at at least 40 of its Belgian supermarkets, in both Flanders and Wallonia. The incident caused problems with refrigerators and freezers.

One report said temperatures may have been set as high as 70 degrees, but Delhaize had not confirmed this. That report also said store managers were warned by text message and that some stores used refrigerated units to protect their stock.
