Cuts threaten support for sex workers in Utrecht
◆1 source
Support in Utrecht has helped three women whose lives were affected by coercion or violence linked to sex work, but part of that assistance is reportedly at risk of being cut back. Noa, 30, said her former boyfriend treated her as a source of money; Lotte, 54, was forced into sex work by her husband; and Mariana, 27, experienced violence while working and wanted to stop when she became pregnant.
The women said the help they received changed their lives. They believe some of this support in Utrecht may disappear.
