Piet Kruithof, coordinator of Stichting Middelburg Beweegt, came to the Middelburg city office on Wednesday evening dissatisfied with the city’s refusal to pay for the reopening of Grand Café Willem. After a substantive debate between council members and alderman Jesse Aarnoutse, Kruithof said he had gained some hope.
