A teacher at Were Di secondary school in Valkenswaard was dismissed after the school received a report, on the final day before the summer holidays, of possible inappropriate conduct involving a minor pupil. The school investigated and dismissed the teacher in consultation with its board. It also received further reports from parents concerning contact between the teacher and pupils. A criminal investigation into the teacher is under way. The public prosecutor's office confirmed the investigation.
