Judges visited the synagogue at A.B.N. Davidsplein in Rotterdam-Blijdorp on Tuesday evening, following an explosion there on 13 March 2026. The entrance was kept dark because its lamp, damaged in the blast, was taped over.

The visit examined whether the building could be recognised as a synagogue in the dark, including whether those who planted the explosive would have known it was a Jewish institution.
